याऽनुगच्छति भर्तारं मृतं सुतपसा द्विज । साध्वी सा हि परिज्ञेया तया चोद्ध्रियते कुलम्

yā'nugacchati bhartāraṃ mṛtaṃ sutapasā dvija | sādhvī sā hi parijñeyā tayā coddhriyate kulam

Wahai yang dua kali lahir, wanita yang dengan tapa dan kesetiaan suci mengikuti suaminya walaupun setelah suaminya wafat—dialah yang patut dikenal sebagai sādhvī yang sejati; dan oleh dirinya, keturunan keluarga diangkat dan dimuliakan.
