ततः प्रभृति सा लोके गंगा विष्णुपदी स्मृता । पवित्रमपि तत्क्षेत्रं नयन्ती सा पवित्रताम्
tataḥ prabhṛti sā loke gaṃgā viṣṇupadī smṛtā | pavitramapi tatkṣetraṃ nayantī sā pavitratām
Sejak saat itu, di dunia ini beliau dikenang sebagai Gaṅgā, “Viṣṇupadī”. Bahkan suatu tempat yang sudah suci pun, beliau membawanya kepada kesucian yang lebih tinggi lagi.
