ब्रह्मोवाच । मम भक्तिपरो नित्यं वृकोऽयं दैत्यसत्तमः । पौत्रस्त्वं दयितो नित्यं तेन त्वां प्रार्थयाम्यहम्
brahmovāca | mama bhaktiparo nityaṃ vṛko'yaṃ daityasattamaḥ | pautrastvaṃ dayito nityaṃ tena tvāṃ prārthayāmyaham
Brahmā bersabda: “Vṛka ini, yang utama antara kaum Dānava, sentiasa berbakti kepadaku. Dan engkau, wahai cucuku, sentiasa kukasihi; maka kerana itu aku memohon kepadamu.”
