ततस्ते शस्त्रमुद्यम्य निर्जघ्नुस्तं क्रुधान्विताः । न शेकुस्ते यदा हंतुं संवृतं विष्णुतेजसा । कुण्ठतां सर्वशस्त्राणि गतानि विमलान्यपि

tataste śastramudyamya nirjaghnustaṃ krudhānvitāḥ | na śekuste yadā haṃtuṃ saṃvṛtaṃ viṣṇutejasā | kuṇṭhatāṃ sarvaśastrāṇi gatāni vimalānyapi

Lalu mereka mengangkat senjata dengan amarah dan menyerangnya; namun mereka tidak mampu membunuhnya, kerana beliau diliputi oleh sinar keagungan Viṣṇu. Semua senjata mereka—walau bersih dan tajam—menjadi tumpul.
