वृक उवाच । यदि तुष्टोऽसि मे देव यदि देयो वरो मम । जरामरणहीनं मां तत्कुरुष्व पितामह
vṛka uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si me deva yadi deyo varo mama | jarāmaraṇahīnaṃ māṃ tatkuruṣva pitāmaha
Vṛka berkata: “Jika Engkau berkenan kepadaku, wahai Tuhan—jika suatu anugerah hendak dikurniakan kepadaku—maka jadikanlah aku bebas daripada tua dan mati, wahai Datuk Agung.”
