ततो मधु समादाय पायसं च तिलोदकम् । ऊर्जस्वेति च मन्त्रेण पितॄणामुपरिक्षिपेत् ओ
tato madhu samādāya pāyasaṃ ca tilodakam | ūrjasveti ca mantreṇa pitṝṇāmuparikṣipet o
Kemudian, dengan mengambil madu, pāyasa (bubur nasi manis ber susu), dan air bijan, hendaklah dipercikkan untuk para Pitṛ sambil melafazkan mantra “ūrjasva” (“jadilah kuat, penuh tenaga”).
