Transliteration

vittābhāve'pi darśāyāṃ śrāddhaṃ deyaṃ vipaścitā | tadabhāve ca kanyāyāṃ saṃsthite divasādhipe

Translation

Walaupun kekurangan harta, orang bijaksana tetap hendaklah mempersembahkan Śrāddha pada hari Darśā (bulan baharu). Jika itu tidak dapat dilakukan, maka lakukanlah ketika Matahari—penguasa siang—berada dalam Kanyā (Virgo).
