Transliteration

viśvāmitra uvāca | atra te kīrtayiṣyāmi pūrvavṛttaṃ kathāṃtaram | śaṃkhatīrthasya māhātmyaṃ yathājātaṃ dharātale

Translation

Viśvāmitra berkata: Di sini akan aku kisahkan kepadamu peristiwa dahulu kala, sebuah riwayat suci yang lain—keagungan Śaṅkhatīrtha, sebagaimana ia terwujud di atas bumi.
