एतस्मिन्नन्तरे जातः सहस्राक्षः पुरंदरः । शोभया परया युक्तो मुनेस्तस्य प्रभाव तः
etasminnantare jātaḥ sahasrākṣaḥ puraṃdaraḥ | śobhayā parayā yukto munestasya prabhāva taḥ
Pada saat itu juga Puraṃdara (Indra) menjadi ‘Sahasrākṣa’, yang bermata seribu; dan oleh kuasa resi itu, baginda dikurniai keindahan yang melampaui segala.
