Transliteration

etasminneva kāle tu brāhmaṇaḥ śaṃsitavrataḥ | chāṃdogyagotravikhyātaḥ subhadronāma pārthivaḥ

Translation

Pada waktu yang sama, ada seorang brāhmaṇa yang masyhur dengan vrata (nazar) yang terpuji, terkenal daripada keturunan Chāndogya; namanya Subhadra, seorang yang mulia di antara manusia.
