तथा च ब्रह्मशालायां संस्थितैर्यदुदाहृतम् । नान्यथा तत्परिज्ञेयं हास्येनापि स्मृतिं विना
tathā ca brahmaśālāyāṃ saṃsthitairyadudāhṛtam | nānyathā tatparijñeyaṃ hāsyenāpi smṛtiṃ vinā
Selain itu, apa jua yang telah diisytiharkan oleh mereka yang berhimpun di balai Brahma hendaklah difahami tepat menurut maksud itu dan bukan sebaliknya; walaupun diucapkan secara senda gurau, jangan diterima tanpa ingatan serta sandaran kepada Smṛti (tradisi berwibawa).
