तस्यास्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा साभिप्रायं द्विजोत्तमाः । ततः स चिन्तयामास यावत्तद्व्याहृतं वचः

tasyāstadvacanaṃ śrutvā sābhiprāyaṃ dvijottamāḥ | tataḥ sa cintayāmāsa yāvattadvyāhṛtaṃ vacaḥ

Setelah mendengar kata-katanya dan menangkap maksud batinnya, yang terbaik antara kaum dwija pun terdiam; lalu dia merenung sejenak atas ucapan yang telah dilafazkan itu.
