Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 51

यजमानो द्विजो वाथ ब्रह्मचर्यविवर्जितः । तच्छ्राद्धं ते मया दत्तं त्रिपात्रेण विवर्जितम्

yajamāno dvijo vātha brahmacaryavivarjitaḥ | tacchrāddhaṃ te mayā dattaṃ tripātreṇa vivarjitam

Jika penaja upacara (yajamāna)—sama ada seorang dvija atau sesiapa pun—tidak berpegang pada disiplin brahmacarya, maka śrāddha itu, yang tidak lengkap dengan susunan “tiga bekas” yang wajar, aku anggap seolah-olah telah aku serahkan kepadamu.
