ततो मे जायते दुःखं तेषां पतन संभवम् । कस्यचित्त्वथ कालस्य संजातं वलयत्रयम् । तस्या हस्ते ततस्ताभ्यां शब्दः संजायते मिथः
tato me jāyate duḥkhaṃ teṣāṃ patana saṃbhavam | kasyacittvatha kālasya saṃjātaṃ valayatrayam | tasyā haste tatastābhyāṃ śabdaḥ saṃjāyate mithaḥ
Lalu timbullah dukacita dalam diriku, bimbang akan kemungkinan kejatuhan mereka. Setelah beberapa waktu, tinggal tiga gelang pada tangannya; dan apabila saling berlanggar, bunyi pun timbul di antara mereka.
