एवं ज्ञात्वा सुरश्रेष्ठ कुरु यत्ते सुरोचते । अतिक्रामति कालोऽयं यज्ञयानसमुद्रवः । तिष्ठते च गृहव्यग्रा सापि स्त्री शिथिलात्मिका
evaṃ jñātvā suraśreṣṭha kuru yatte surocate | atikrāmati kālo'yaṃ yajñayānasamudravaḥ | tiṣṭhate ca gṛhavyagrā sāpi strī śithilātmikā
“Setelah mengetahui demikian, wahai yang terbaik di antara para dewa, lakukanlah apa yang engkau anggap wajar. Waktu kian berlalu, dan persiapan kenderaan korban sedang riuh. Dan dia pun masih tinggal, sibuk dengan urusan rumah tangga—wanita itu benar-benar longgar tekadnya.”
