Type: kshetra
Scene: A proclamation that the kṣetra uniquely holds yajña efficacy for Nāgaras: pilgrims and ritualists are shown choosing the sacred field over distant venues; a map-like narrative—roads converging to the kṣetra, banners indicating ‘vṛthā’ outside.
Place matters in Purāṇic dharma: a rite gains power when performed within the sanctified, rule-bound kṣetra.
The ‘etat-kṣetra’ (this sacred field) of the Nāgara-khaṇḍa narrative, presented as the proper locus for effective yajña for the Nāgaras.
Nāgaras are enjoined not to abandon this kṣetra for yajña elsewhere, or the rite loses its fruit.
