sā gatvā prātarutthāya śubhe gaṃgātaṭe tadā | pañcapiṃḍātmikāṃ gaurīṃ kṛtvā karddamasaṃbhavām
Dia bangun awal pagi, lalu pergi ke tebing suci Sungai Gaṅgā. Di sana dia membentuk Gaurī sebagai Pañcapiṇḍātmikā, diperbuat daripada lumpur yang disucikan.
