brahmahatyodbhavaṃ caiva api tasya praṇaśyati | paracakrabhaye jāte hyanā vṛṣṭibhaye tathā
Bahkan noda yang lahir daripada dosa membunuh Brahmana pun lenyap baginya. Dan apabila timbul ketakutan kerana tentera musuh, atau ketakutan akan kemarau, amalan ini membawa kelegaan.
