ततः प्रोवाच संगत्य साम्ना परमवल्गुना । विश्वामित्रं नृपश्रेष्ठं भयेन महताऽन्वितः
tataḥ provāca saṃgatya sāmnā paramavalgunā | viśvāmitraṃ nṛpaśreṣṭhaṃ bhayena mahatā'nvitaḥ
Lalu baginda, raja para dewa, mendekati dan bertemu Viśvāmitra, raja yang paling mulia, lalu berkata dengan kata-kata yang amat lembut dan mendamaikan, meskipun hatinya diliputi ketakutan besar.
