खाद्यैः सर्वैस्तथा लेह्यैश्चोष्यैः पेयैः पृथविधैः । कुरुष्व तृप्तिपर्यन्तं ससैन्यस्य महीपतेः । अश्वानां च गजानां च घासादिभिर्यथाक्रमम्
khādyaiḥ sarvaistathā lehyaiścoṣyaiḥ peyaiḥ pṛthavidhaiḥ | kuruṣva tṛptiparyantaṃ sasainyasya mahīpateḥ | aśvānāṃ ca gajānāṃ ca ghāsādibhiryathākramam
Dengan segala jenis makanan pejal, hidangan yang dijilat, yang dihisap, serta pelbagai minuman—sediakanlah hingga puas kenyang bagi raja bersama bala tenteranya; dan untuk kuda serta gajah, berikanlah rumput makanan dan seumpamanya menurut tertibnya.
