मानुषेणैव रूपेण त्यक्त्वा तां बदरीं शुभाम् । प्रसिद्ध्यर्थं मया चात्र प्रासादोऽयं विनि र्मितः । मन्नाम्ना नरसंज्ञश्च श्रद्धापूतेन चेतसा
mānuṣeṇaiva rūpeṇa tyaktvā tāṃ badarīṃ śubhām | prasiddhyarthaṃ mayā cātra prāsādo'yaṃ vini rmitaḥ | mannāmnā narasaṃjñaśca śraddhāpūtena cetasā
“Dengan meninggalkan Badarī yang mulia itu dan mengambil rupa manusia, aku telah menyebabkan binaan kuil ini didirikan di sini demi memasyhurkan tempat ini. Dan dengan hati yang disucikan oleh śraddhā, ia hendaklah dikenali menurut namaku, dengan gelaran ‘Nara’.”
