चित्रांगद उवाच । व्याधिनाऽहं सुनिर्विण्णस्तेन देवात्र चागतः । येन व्याधिक्षयो भावी देहनाशेन शंकर
citrāṃgada uvāca | vyādhinā'haṃ sunirviṇṇastena devātra cāgataḥ | yena vyādhikṣayo bhāvī dehanāśena śaṃkara
Citrāṅgada berkata: “Aku disiksa penyakit dan amat letih; sebab itu aku datang ke hadapan-Mu, wahai Dewa. Wahai Śaṅkara, dengan cara apakah penyakit ini akan lenyap—walaupun dengan musnahnya tubuh ini?”
