Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 24
रोगा ऊचुः । किमर्थं देवदेवेश त्वया सृष्टा वयं विभो । आदेशो दीयतां शीघ्रं प्रसादः क्रियतामिति
rogā ūcuḥ | kimarthaṃ devadeveśa tvayā sṛṣṭā vayaṃ vibho | ādeśo dīyatāṃ śīghraṃ prasādaḥ kriyatāmiti
Penyakit-penyakit berkata: “Wahai Tuhan segala dewa, wahai Yang Maha Perkasa, untuk tujuan apakah kami diciptakan oleh-Mu? Kurniakanlah perintah dengan segera; limpahkanlah rahmat-Mu.”
