मार्गशीर्षेऽथ संप्राप्ते तृतीयादिवसे सिते । तां देवीं पूजयामास वर्षं यावकृतक्षणा
mārgaśīrṣe'tha saṃprāpte tṛtīyādivase site | tāṃ devīṃ pūjayāmāsa varṣaṃ yāvakṛtakṣaṇā
Kemudian apabila bulan Mārgaśīrṣa tiba—pada hari ketiga paruh terang—dia memulakan pemujaan kepada Dewi itu dan meneruskannya genap setahun, dengan mematuhi waktu-waktu nazar yang telah ditetapkan.
