इत्युक्त्वा वचनं भूपं याज्ञवल्क्यः स वै द्विजः । जगाम स्वगृहं तूर्णं निस्पृहत्वं समाश्रितः
ityuktvā vacanaṃ bhūpaṃ yājñavalkyaḥ sa vai dvijaḥ | jagāma svagṛhaṃ tūrṇaṃ nispṛhatvaṃ samāśritaḥ
Setelah berkata demikian kepada raja, Brahmana Yājñavalkya itu segera pergi ke kediamannya sendiri, berteguh dalam keadaan tanpa keinginan.
