Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 3

आत्मानमात्मनैवाथ ब्रह्मद्वारेण संस्थितः । ततो निःसारयामास पुलकेन समन्वितः

ātmānamātmanaivātha brahmadvāreṇa saṃsthitaḥ | tato niḥsārayāmāsa pulakena samanvitaḥ

Kemudian, menetap di 'Pintu Brahma', dia—dengan kekuatan dalamannya sendiri—menyebabkan dirinya keluar, dan dia melakukannya dengan penuh getaran kegembiraan.
