सूत उवाच । एवं समर्पितं लिंगं तेन तद्धरसंभवम् । सर्वेषां ब्राह्मणेंद्राणां वंशोच्छेदे स्थिते द्विजाः
sūta uvāca | evaṃ samarpitaṃ liṃgaṃ tena taddharasaṃbhavam | sarveṣāṃ brāhmaṇeṃdrāṇāṃ vaṃśocchede sthite dvijāḥ
Sūta berkata: “Demikianlah liṅga itu—yang lahir daripada sang pemikul itu—telah diserahkan olehnya. Wahai kaum dvija, ketika keturunan semua brāhmaṇa terunggul itu telah sampai ke ambang terputus…”
