Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 24
श्रीभगवानुवाच । एतद्रूपं मया शक्र कृतं तस्य वधाय वै । अवध्यः सर्वभूतानां यतोन्येषां मया हतः
śrībhagavānuvāca | etadrūpaṃ mayā śakra kṛtaṃ tasya vadhāya vai | avadhyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ yatonyeṣāṃ mayā hataḥ
Baginda Yang Maha Suci bersabda: “Wahai Śakra, sesungguhnya Aku mengambil rupa ini untuk membinasakannya; kerana dia kebal terhadap semua makhluk—maka Akulah yang membunuhnya, bukan yang lain.”
