एतस्मिन्नंतरे प्राप्ता रजनी तमसावृता । न किंचित्तत्र संयाति कस्यचिद्दृष्टिगोचरे

etasminnaṃtare prāptā rajanī tamasāvṛtā | na kiṃcittatra saṃyāti kasyaciddṛṣṭigocare

Dalam pada itu, malam pun tiba, diselubungi kegelapan; di sana, tiada sesuatu pun yang masuk ke dalam jangkauan penglihatan sesiapa.
