ततस्तद्गीतलोभेन सर्वे तत्पुरवासिनः । प्रातरुत्थाय केदारं समागच्छंति कौतुकात् । कस्य चित्त्वथ कालस्य नागौ तौ स्वपुरं प्रति । निन्युर्बलात्समुद्यम्य सर्वलोकस्य पश्यतः

tatastadgītalobhena sarve tatpuravāsinaḥ | prātarutthāya kedāraṃ samāgacchaṃti kautukāt | kasya cittvatha kālasya nāgau tau svapuraṃ prati | ninyurbalātsamudyamya sarvalokasya paśyataḥ

Kemudian, kerana rindu akan nyanyian itu, semua penduduk kota bangun awal lalu datang ke Kedāra dengan penuh rasa takjub. Namun setelah beberapa waktu, di hadapan seluruh orang ramai, dua nāga itu mengangkatnya dengan paksa dan membawanya menuju kota mereka sendiri.
