Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 7
ऋषय ऊचुः । यानि गोत्राणि नष्टानि यानि संस्थापितानि च । नामतस्तानि नो ब्रूहि तत्पुरं सूत नन्दन
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | yāni gotrāṇi naṣṭāni yāni saṃsthāpitāni ca | nāmatastāni no brūhi tatpuraṃ sūta nandana
Para resi berkata: “Nyatakan kepada kami menurut nama, gotra-gotra yang telah lenyap dan yang telah ditegakkan semula. Wahai putera Sūta, jelaskan juga kota itu kepada kami.”
