एवं तत्पुरमुद्दिश्य सर्वे ते पन्नगोत्तमाः । प्रचरंति यथा कश्चिन्न तत्र ब्राह्मणो वसेत्

evaṃ tatpuramuddiśya sarve te pannagottamāḥ | pracaraṃti yathā kaścinna tatra brāhmaṇo vaset

Demikianlah, dengan menyasar kota itu, semua ular terunggul bergerak ke sana sini sehingga tiada seorang brāhmaṇa pun dapat menetap di situ.
