FAQs

Sacred geography is divine in origin; tīrthas are not merely natural sites but places sanctified by Devadeva for the uplift of beings.

An ‘uttama taḍāga’ (excellent sacred pond) near Agastya’s hermitage, explicitly said to be created by Devadeva (Śiva).

None in this verse; it establishes the tīrtha’s divine origin, a key element of māhātmya.
