Transliteration

yathā sītā parityaktā yathā saumitriṇā kṛtaḥ | parityāgaḥ svakīyasya saṃtyaktena mahātmanā

Translation

Dia menceritakan bagaimana Sītā telah ditinggalkan; dan bagaimana Saumitrī (Lakṣmaṇa) melaksanakan penolakan terhadap insan kesayangannya sendiri—oleh mahātmā yang diperintah untuk meninggalkan.
