तिलमाषप्रदानेन द्विजानां तर्पणेन च । यमेन सहितो देवः प्रीयते पुरुषोत्तमः

tilamāṣapradānena dvijānāṃ tarpaṇena ca | yamena sahito devaḥ prīyate puruṣottamaḥ

Dengan memberikan wijen dan kacang urad (tilamāṣa), serta melakukan tarpaṇa kepada kaum dwija, Puruṣottama, Sang Pribadi Tertinggi, berkenan—bersama Yama.
