एवं ते मन्त्रिणः प्रोच्य ततस्तस्य कलेवरम् । लक्ष्मणस्य विलप्यौच्चैश्चन्दनोशीरकुंकुमैः
evaṃ te mantriṇaḥ procya tatastasya kalevaram | lakṣmaṇasya vilapyauccaiścandanośīrakuṃkumaiḥ
Setelah berkata demikian, para menteri itu kemudian, sambil meratap dengan suara lantang, mengurus jasad Lakṣmaṇa, menyapunya dengan cendana, uśīra dan kuṅkuma.
