हा वत्स मां परित्यज्य किं त्वं संप्रस्थितो दिवम् । प्राणेष्टं भ्रातरं श्रेष्ठं सदा तव मते स्थितम्
hā vatsa māṃ parityajya kiṃ tvaṃ saṃprasthito divam | prāṇeṣṭaṃ bhrātaraṃ śreṣṭhaṃ sadā tava mate sthitam
“Aduhai, wahai yang kukasihi! Meninggalkan aku, mengapa engkau berangkat ke syurga? Wahai saudara yang terbaik—kekasih seperti nyawaku sendiri—yang sentiasa teguh pada tekadmu!”
