एवं प्रहस्य रुचिरं गिरिजा तु शंभुं सा प्रेक्ष्या नर्मवचसा स तयाभिभूतः । देहीति म सकलमंगलमंगलेश यद्धारितं स्मररिपो वचसानुमोदितम्
evaṃ prahasya ruciraṃ girijā tu śaṃbhuṃ sā prekṣyā narmavacasā sa tayābhibhūtaḥ | dehīti ma sakalamaṃgalamaṃgaleśa yaddhāritaṃ smararipo vacasānumoditam
Demikianlah Girijā tersenyum manis, memandang Śambhu, lalu dengan kata-kata bersenda menundukkannya. Ia berkata: “Berikan kepadaku, wahai Tuhan segala keberuntungan—wahai musuh Smara—apa yang telah engkau pertaruhkan dan yang telah engkau setujui dengan kata-katamu sendiri.”
