तदाम्बिकाह स्वपतिं महेशं मया जितोऽस्यद्य न विस्मयोऽत्र । एवमुक्त्वा तदा शंभुं करे गृह्य वरानना । जितोऽसि त्वं न संदेहस्त्वं न जानासि शंकर
tadāmbikāha svapatiṃ maheśaṃ mayā jito'syadya na vismayo'tra | evamuktvā tadā śaṃbhuṃ kare gṛhya varānanā | jito'si tvaṃ na saṃdehastvaṃ na jānāsi śaṃkara
Lalu Ambikā berkata kepada suaminya, Maheśa: “Hari ini aku telah menewaskanmu—tiada hairan padanya.” Setelah berkata demikian, Dewi berwajah jelita itu memegang tangan Śambhu lalu bersabda: “Engkau telah kalah—tiada syak. Wahai Śaṅkara, engkau tidak mengerti.”
