Tirtha: Kedāra
Type: kshetra

Scene: A respectful exchange: the speaker urges Mahādeva to restrain the gaṇas through wisdom; Rudra turns and addresses Vīrabhadra, who stands ready, spear in hand, disciplined and alert.
Even powerful forces are best guided by pāṇḍitya—discerning wisdom—so that devotion remains orderly and dharmic.
The passage occurs in Kedārakhaṇḍa, within the Kedāra sacred-region narrative of the Himalayas (Kedāra-kṣetra).
No direct ritual is prescribed here; the focus is on restraint and maintaining sacred decorum.
