शंभुः परेषां परमो दग्धो येन महाबलः । मदनो मम सान्निध्यमानयेऽत्रैव तं शिवम्
śaṃbhuḥ pareṣāṃ paramo dagdho yena mahābalaḥ | madano mama sānnidhyamānaye'traiva taṃ śivam
“Śambhu ialah Yang Tertinggi di atas segala-galanya. Oleh-Nya, Madana yang perkasa telah dibakar hangus. Maka aku akan menghadirkan Śiva itu di sini juga, ke hadiratku.”
