दधीचिरुवाच । एते सुरेशा ऋषयो महत्तराः सलोकपालाश्च समागतास्तव । तथाऽपि यज्ञस्तु न शोभते भृशंपिनाकिना तेन महात्मना विना
dadhīciruvāca | ete sureśā ṛṣayo mahattarāḥ salokapālāśca samāgatāstava | tathā'pi yajñastu na śobhate bhṛśaṃpinākinā tena mahātmanā vinā
Dadhīci berkata: “Wahai Dakṣa, para dewa yang agung, para resi besar, bahkan para penjaga alam (lokapāla) telah berhimpun untukmu; namun yajña ini tidak berseri sedikit pun tanpa Pinākin, Śiva yang berhati luhur, pemegang busur.”
