वृत्रेण कोपिना चैवं धिक्कृता दैत्यपुंगवाः । हे पुलोमन्महाभाग वृषपर्वन्नमोस्तु ते
vṛtreṇa kopinā caivaṃ dhikkṛtā daityapuṃgavāḥ | he pulomanmahābhāga vṛṣaparvannamostu te
Demikianlah para ketua Dāitya, setelah ditegur oleh Vṛtra yang murka, berkata: “Wahai Puloman yang mulia; wahai Vṛṣaparvan—sembah sujud kami kepadamu!”
