सकामेन कृतं पापमकामं नैव जायते । ताभ्यां विषयभेदेन प्रायश्चित्तं विधीयते

Transliteration

sakāmena kṛtaṃ pāpamakāmaṃ naiva jāyate | tābhyāṃ viṣayabhedena prāyaścittaṃ vidhīyate

Translation

Dosa yang dilakukan dengan niat sengaja tidaklah sama dengan dosa yang terjadi tanpa niat; dan menurut perbezaan keadaan itu, penebusan (prāyaścitta) ditetapkan.
