Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta), narrating to the sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Kedāra/Kedāranātha
Type: kshetra
Listener: Sages/interlocutor in Kedāra-khaṇḍa frame
Scene: Viṣṇu strikes Kālanemi lightly with the left hand—almost playful—yet the asura reels; the same trident’s blow leaves him collapsing in a swoon.
Adharma, however mighty, is shown as powerless before the divine will, which acts effortlessly (līlayā).
Kedāra-kṣetra is the larger Kedārakhaṇḍa setting; the verse is part of the surrounding glorificatory narrative.
