बालको बक इत्येवं प्रतीतोऽतिप्रियः पितुः । चपलोऽतीव बालत्वे निसर्गादेव भद्रक
bālako baka ityevaṃ pratīto'tipriyaḥ pituḥ | capalo'tīva bālatve nisargādeva bhadraka
Ketika aku masih kanak-kanak, aku dikenali dengan nama “Baka” dan amat dikasihi oleh ayahku; pada usia kecil aku sangat gelisah dan lincah menurut tabiat semula jadi, wahai yang mulia.
