ततो नागाः समागम्य वासुकिप्रमुखास्तदा । तुष्टुबुर्विविधैर्वाक्यैरूचुः सुहृदयं च ते

tato nāgāḥ samāgamya vāsukipramukhāstadā | tuṣṭuburvividhairvākyairūcuḥ suhṛdayaṃ ca te

Kemudian para Nāga, diketuai Vāsuki, berhimpun di sana. Dengan sukacita mereka memuji Suhṛdaya dengan pelbagai kata dan menyapanya dengan niat baik yang tulus.
