पतिता गुरवस्त्याज्या माता च न कथंचन । गर्भधारणपोषाभ्यां तेन माता गरीयसी

Transliteration

patitā guravastyājyā mātā ca na kathaṃcana | garbhadhāraṇapoṣābhyāṃ tena mātā garīyasī

Translation

Walaupun para guru telah jatuh daripada kelakuan benar, mereka boleh ditinggalkan; tetapi ibu tidak boleh ditinggalkan sama sekali dalam apa jua keadaan. Dengan mengandung dan menyusui serta memelihara, maka ibu itulah yang lebih berat martabatnya, lebih mulia dihormati.
