यो मे प्रतिबलश्चापि स मे भर्ता भविष्यति । एवं च समयं श्रुत्वा बहवो दैत्यराक्षसाः
yo me pratibalaścāpi sa me bhartā bhaviṣyati | evaṃ ca samayaṃ śrutvā bahavo daityarākṣasāḥ
“Sesiapa yang setara denganku dalam kekuatan, dialah akan menjadi suamiku.” Mendengar syarat itu, ramai Dānava dan Rākṣasa pun tampil mencuba.
