प्रसादयंति तां देवीं नानावेषैः सुदीनवत् । केचिद्ब्राह्मणवेषैश्च तापसानां तथो क्तिभिः
prasādayaṃti tāṃ devīṃ nānāveṣaiḥ sudīnavat | kecidbrāhmaṇaveṣaiśca tāpasānāṃ tatho ktibhiḥ
Dalam kesengsaraan yang amat, mereka berusaha menenangkan Dewi itu dengan pelbagai penyamaran—ada yang menyamar sebagai brāhmaṇa, dan ada pula dengan tutur kata serta adab para pertapa.
